About Wi-Sky Inflight

Research and development on the Wi-SKY radio began 4 years ago. Every manufacturer of next-generation wireless (4G) radios was contacted by the company but declined to pursue what was considered to be an “impossible” task communicating with a high speed aircraft in flight. Wi-Sky remained convinced that the 4G technology could deliver functionality not available from the limited throughput of existing cellular or satellite aircraft systems. Persistence paid off and today Wi-SKY's breakthrough radio is rated at 100 megabits (Mbps) per second at 100 miles distance to every plane - simultaneously - in the sky.
