Wi-SKY has assembled a team of experts in the field of air-to-ground radio technology. Our proprietary radio is protected by seven recently-filed patents to secure the radical radio innovations created by our CTO and team of engineers.

The foundation technology is similar to Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM), the cornerstone of today’s 4G wireless radios. However, our engineers have modified OFDM protocols and designed custom hardware to perform data processing on integrated circuit chips at the highest speeds available. Standard radio software was also extensively modified and re-written to perform the unique functions necessary to produce the performance results we need. The antenna is highly modified to connect to aircraft in flight. All modifications have been implemented in full compliance with the rules of the Federal Communication Commission and the Federal Aviation Administration.
